Cleveland-Marshall College of Law Electronic Trial Courtroom
The purpose of the Trial Courtroom Project is to construct a state of the art, technology-enhanced courtroom to provide a simulation-based learning environment for law students, legal professionals, and mock trial opportunities. This facility will enable Cleveland-Marshall law students to prepare to be outstanding trial lawyers. The College of Law will also make this trial courtroom available to practicing lawyers and active judges for mock trial and training exercises. The Courtroom will also ultimately provide the opportunity to create a revenue stream for the College of Law via rentals by legal professionals and other outside organizations. Consistent with our mission, it will be an educational and community resource for engaged, practical learning and professional development.
The total construction cost estimate is $1 million. The estimated project completion date is Fall 2011.
