Cleveland-Marshall College of Law

Externship Program

Externships allow students to earn academic credit while gaining valuable professional experience.  Students will be paying tuition for these credits, although they will receive no compensation from the attorney.

Externships may be established in governmental offices or in not-for-profit organizations. We would be happy to assist you in setting up an externship in your office and with recruiting qualified applicants. Since this is curricular activity, there will be certain limitations on workable hours and on the types of projects that may be undertaken, please feel free to contact us to learn more.

To view the externships currently available to Cleveland-Marshall students, go to the Externship webpage.

Contact Associate Dean Phyllis Crocker at 216-687-2300 to establish an externship with your institution and Cleveland-Marshall students.
