Pro Bono Opportunities
The most gratifying work that an attorney takes on is often the work done for free. Pro Bono is the short term for the Latin term pro bono publico which means for the public good. Pro bono legal work is the term referred to when the legal services are provided by an attorney (or a law student under the tutelage of an attorney) for free or for a reduced fee. Participation in the school's pro bono opportunities is a great way to get some hands-on experience with the law as well as to meet attorneys in the area. Cleveland-Marshall's Pro Bono opportunities are plentiful and varied. Click here to learn more about ways that you can serve your community while furthering your education.
