Fil is a third-year law student at Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. In his first year, he was named into the Dean’s List and received the Urban League Academic Excellence Award. In his second year, he was again named into the Dean’s List and received a CALI “High A” Award for Legal Profession. Following his induction into the Journal of Law and Health as an Associate last year, he now serves as the Editor-in-Chief. He is a second-year law clerk at the Ohio Attorney General’s Office, where he works in several sections, including mainly consumer protection and bankruptcy. He also works in the Attorney General’s pro bono program, consulting with clients and drafting wills, power of attorney, and advanced directive documents. He is a member of the Young Lawyers Section of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association and volunteers in the CMBA’s 3Rs Program. He graduated magna cum laude from The Ohio State University, earning a bachelor of science in finance and economics. He enjoys spending his spare time with family and friends. |
