Dr. Joseph R. Lex
On Tuesday, February 20, 2007, the Journal of Law and Health welcomes back Dr. Joseph Lex from the Temple University School of Medicine.
Dr. Lex is an emergency room doctor and the Professor of Emergency Room Medicine at Temple University. Dr. Lex will present The FDA: A Watchdog that Doesn’t Bite and Has No Incentive to Bark. He will address the corporate funding of the Food and Drug Administration and provide insight into the agency’s regulatory functions. One credit hour of CLE for this event is currently pending with the Ohio Supreme Court.
Last year, Dr. Lex presented two fascinating lectures in the Journal ’s Lecture Series: Gunshot Wounds in Four Assassinated Presidents and No Free Lunch: Pharmaceutical Industry Influences Physicians with Food, Flattery and Friendship.
