Student Public Interest Law Organization (SPILO)

Who We Are

SPILO is a student-run club made up of first, second and third-year full and part-time law students. SPILO's officers are elected annually and the club holds meetings monthly at the Cleveland-Marshall College of law. SPILO and its members volunteer in the community as a group and individually.

Our Mission

SPILO is a public-interest service organization dedicated to informing other law students and the public of public interest issues and concerns. SPILO strives to participate in the community through volunteering and facilitates bringing law students and public interest organizations together through learning opportunites and networking.

SPILO's past sucesses range from volunteering with Habitat for Humanity and collecting and donating books for children to providing pro bono immigration law work and hosting speakers such as Jerry Springer and Tim McCormick.
