Law Librarians assist Faculty with the development of research assignments, as well as present research lectures and develop research guides on general and subject-specific legal research strategies and resources. We also develop Course Pages and assist Faculty with Media support of their teaching.
Course Page Options
Customized course pages to support teaching, utilizing regular Web pages, blogs, wikis, TWEN, LexisNexis Blackboard and CSU Blackboard.
Course Media Options
Assistance with in-house and CSU Instructional Media Services recording of course materials, as well as posting of media files to course pages. Options include podcast, screencast, vodcast (video), and MediaSite.
CSU Center for Teaching Excellence
Promotes and encourages "a culture of excellence in teaching and learning at Cleveland State University" by providing workshops, consultation services, classroom equipment, and specialized software and equipment (eg, for scanning and digitizing). Also provides links to CSU's Center for eLearning, teaching tips, and copyright resources.

Law Educator: Courses, Materials & Teaching
SSRN publication "designed to offer a vehicle for law teachers to share information and materials about teaching." Currently provides access to over 500 articles. Plans to include PowerPoint presentations, videos, and other materials.
Legal Writing Institute
Nonprofit corporation providing "a forum for research and scholarship about legal writing and legal analysis." Includes links to LWI publications, such as its Journal, and several teaching resources, such as a Syllabus Bank and Plagiarism Resources.
LexisNexis Resources
Teaching Tools highlight LexisNexis resources that can aid teaching. To access, after signing-on to LexisNexis, click on "Teaching Tools" under the "Prepare for Class" tab. Includes Interactive Tutorials, Webinars, Area of Law Resources, Shepard's Teaching Resources, and Link Builder (for creating direct links to LexisNexis documents).

CALI Legal Education Commons
Site provided by CALI in which faculty and librarians from subscriber schools can upload materials under a Creative Commons license. [Descriptions of Creative Commons Licenses.] These materials are freely available for subscribers' use. Includes documents, images, PowerPoint presentations, and MP3 audio files. Legal Education Commons is a part of ELangdell, a course page alternative which is in its early stages. ELangdell contains additional teaching materials.
Law School Exchange
Site provided by Westlaw and Thomson Reuters in which faculty and librarians from subscriber schools can upload materials. These materials are freely available for subscribers' use - including linking to TWEN pages - but copyright restrictions vary from traditional copyright to Creative Commons. Includes documents, books, and PowerPoint presentations, as well as Westlaw and Foundation Press materials. This site also provides opportunities to join or create specific interest groups for sharing materials and collaborating on projects. The first time you connect to Law School Exchange, the system may ask you to register your password.
