Introduction
This selective guide highlights major print and electronic resources available to Cleveland-Marshall College of Law students researching issues in Agency, Partnership, and Limited Liability Associations Law. (LAW 691) A requirement for the Business Law concentration, Agency, Partnership, and Limited Liability Associations provides an introduction to business associations, examining the law of agenc , including vicarious liability and authority to bind another by assent or representation, the law governing partnerships and the intersection of agency and partnership law, and new statutory structures such a limited liability partnerships and limited liability companies.

Uniform Partnership Act - The 1914 Uniform Partnership Act promulgated by the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws had been adopted by 49 states. A new Uniform Partnership Act was adopted in 1992 and was amended in 1993, 1994, 1996 (limited liability partnership added), and 1997. This is the Revised Uniform Partnership Act (RUPA).In some states RUPA has been adopted; in some UPA has been repealed.
Uniform Limited Liability Partnership Act - 1916 act was revised in 1976, further revised and is now Article 10 of the Uniform Limited Partnership Act. Article 11 is Foreign Limited Liability Partnership.
