Services
Library services are designed to help our users make full and efficient use of our collections and resources. It is our goal to provide the highest quality of service possible. We constantly strive to evaluate and improve our procedures and services. Any suggestions you offer are greatly appreciated. The Law Library staff members are trained to provide priority service to the faculty and students of the College of Law while also serving other members of the Cleveland State University community, alumni, and members of the bar. The Law Library services and collections are also available to the general public.
The library maintains electronic databases for Course Reserves and Past Exams. These databases are accessible with a law school ID and password. While many course reserve documents and past exams are available online, some are only available in print at the Information Services Desk. These print materials can be signed out for two hour periods, for use in the library only.
Course Reserves are any materials requested by faculty to be put on reserve for a specific class. Course reserve materials may be an item from the Law Library collection, personal collections of the law faculty, items from other libraries, or photocopies of any of the above.
Additionally, some classes have materials posted on the College of Law's Online Course Material page.
Past Exams are actual exams given to students in previous years. The professors retain all intellectual property rights in the exams they have written.
