Elizabeth Collins

Elizabeth Collins is a third year student at Cleveland-Marshall.  She graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Arts in politics and government and pre-law.   While a student at Ohio Wesleyan, she was a member of the Phi Sigma Alpha and Gamma Sigma Alpha National Honor Societies.  While at Cleveland-Marshall, Elizabeth externed at the Supreme Court of Ohio with Chief Justice Maureen O'Connor and at the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio with Judge Patricia A. Gaughan.  She has worked as a law clerk at Collins and Scanlon LLP and a summer associate at Brouse McDowell LPA.  She competed in the national moot court competition, where she was awarded third place oralist and her team placed third overall and won first place brief.  She is also a member of the Cleveland-Marshall Journal of Law and Health, where she is an executive editor, and her note Do You Know Where Your DNA Is? The Need for DNA Theft Legislation in Ohio will be published in the spring of 2013.
