Kelly Albin is a third-year student at Cleveland-Marshall.  She graduated from John Carroll University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree in Finance, with concentrations in International Studies and Philosophy.  While a student at John Carroll, Kelly was a member of the Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society, and also interned at John S. Chapman & Associates, LLC in Cleveland.  During the 2010-2011 school year, Kelly assisted Professor Kelly Curtis as a Legal Writing Teacher’s Assistant and competed as a member of the Cleveland-Marshall Moot Court Team in the American Bar Association’s National Appellate Advocacy competition.  This year, she will compete in the National Moot Court Competition, sponsored by the New York City Bar Association.  As a Journal Associate, Kelly received the Barbara J. Tyler Award for Best Note of the Year, as well as the Associate of the Year Award.  Her Note, Bullies in a Wired World: Cyberspace Victimization’s Impact on Adolescent Mental Health and the Need for Cyberbullying Legislation in Ohio, will be published in the Journal of Law and Health, Volume 25, Issue 1 (forthcoming fall 2011).  Kelly is a member of the Women’s Law Student Association, and spent the past two summers clerking at the Office of the Ohio Public Defender in Columbus, Ohio.
