Brianna McLaughlin is a third-year student and an Executive Business Editor for the Law Review. Brianna attended Miami University in Oxford, OH where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in Criminology. Brianna has earned CALI “High-A” awards in Contracts, Legal Writing, Criminal Law, and Legal Writing & Litigation. She is also a member of the Cleveland-Marshall Trial Advocacy Team and a Co-Editor-in-Chief of the law school’s student newspaper, The Gavel. Her note, “Drug Testing, Welfare, and the Special Needs Doctrine: An Argument in Support of Drug Testing TANF Recipients” won the 2012 award for Best Law Review Note and will be published in the Cleveland State Law Review. Brianna has previously worked as a law clerk for the in-house legal department of The Sherwin-Williams Company. Last summer, Brianna worked as a Summer Associate for Jones Day. She has accepted a full-time offer to join the firm as an associate following graduation.
