Jackie Staple is a third year student and Research Editor of the Cleveland State Law Review. Jackie received a Bachelor of Science degree in 2007 and a Master of Arts degree in 2008, both in art education from Case Western Reserve University and the Cleveland Institute of Art, where she earned Ohio teacher licensure for K-12 visual art. At Case, Jackie was a member of Delta Gamma and served as the chapter’s vice president, standards board president, and Panhellenic representative. Before law school, Jackie worked in student affairs in the Office of Greek Life at Case and at a trucking logistics company. During law school, Jackie worked her first summer at the City of Cleveland Law Department and her second summer at the law firm of Mansour, Gavin, Gerlack & Manos, where she continues to work part time. She externed for the Honorable Judge James S. Gwin and currently externs in the United States Attorney’s Office. Jackie is also a member of Cleveland Marshall’s moot court team.
