Dear Students,

Welcome to Legal Writing and Research §§ 1 and 2. This class will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays 1:00 to 2:40. We will meet on Zoom until further notice as we may have an option at a later date of in person classes. You will be asked to enter the Zoom classes on both audio and video. Please consult the Welcome to Legal Writing email recently sent to both classes.

For the first assignment read Chapter 1 in Writing and Analysis and the Law (Sixth Edition) Also, in Finding the Law, read pages 8-16 (The Big Picture). These books may be purchased used at the CSU Bookstore or online. Also you may purchase the Bluebook 20th edition used. I will explain the texts during the first class. Other materials will be available on TWEN which will be explained in class. (You cannot access at this time.)

I am excited about the upcoming academic year. If you have any questions or concerns please contact me s.kerbernull@csuohio.nulledu. Also other concerns may be addressed in class.

Sincerely yours,
