To request materials from either campus library, you may:

Notifications will be sent to the requester’s CSU email once the hold is available for pickup.

OHIOLINK BORROWING/LENDING

Expect delays in delivery of materials requested from OhioLINK. OhioLINK materials will be quarantined upon delivery and return to the law library for 72 hours. Please plan ahead when requesting and returning OhioLINK library materials to allow for quarantine delays.

Notifications will be sent to the requester’s CSU email once the hold is available for pickup.

RETURNING ALL PRINT MATERIALS/RENEWING MATERIALS

The book drop outside the Michael Schwartz Library will be available for returning library materials. You may renew your materials via the online catalog (https://scholar.csuohio.edu), leave a message at (216) 687-2250, or email us at libraryinformation.servicesnull@law.csuohio.nulledu if you need help with returns.

The law library will extend return dates and waive fines for CSU-owned materials. Extensions and waivers for OhioLINK materials may not be available.

COURSE RESERVES

Print course reserves will not be maintained in the library. Journal materials will be checked out in the name of the journal and maintained in that journal’s office. Professors will inform their classes if they plan to have other types of reserves available for their students.

REFERENCE AND RESEARCH SUPPORT

Research consultations will be held virtually using Zoom or by phone. More information at https://www.law.csuohio.edu/lawlibrary/services/studentervices/researchc...

Many research needs can be met by consulting a librarian-developed, online research guide. Research guides are located at https://guides.law.csuohio.edu

LEGAL RESEARCH SEMINARS

The library’s Legal Research Seminar series will continue to be accessible virtually - see our Legal Research Seminars page at https://www.law.csuohio.edu/lawlibrary/students/research/certificate

IT SUPPORT

Tech support will continue to be provided virtually using the IT Ticket System. Send your request to information.technologynull@law.csuohio.nulledu. Any support that requires handling of hardware will be provided by arrangement only after remote efforts have failed. During high use times, such as exam periods, IT Staff will set up Zoom Rooms for assistance.

Phone support is provided via voice mail only. You may call 216-523-7555 any time and must leave a message with your contact information. IT staff will get in touch with you via a "No Caller ID" phone number, so please be sure to answer. Again the best way to reach IT is via the ticket system above.
