After graduating from NYU, where he was the Senior Notes Editor for the Journal of Law and Business, Professor Bruckner joined the New York office of Allen & Overy LLP, where he practiced for nearly three years. His practice included issues relating to bankruptcy, commercial, contract, corporate and other general transactional matters. After leaving Allen & Overy, Professor Bruckner clerked for the Honorable Allen L. Gropper of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York. He then taught Corporate Reorganizations, Administrative Law and advanced legal writing with a bankruptcy focus at St. John's University School of Law. Professor Bruckner joined the Transactional Law Clinic in 2013 as a Visiting Professor.
