How did you decide that law school – and Cleveland-Marshall – was right for you?

Since I am fascinated with metaphysics, philosophy, and the human condition, I’m convinced that law is nothing more than an extension of the universal moral/ethical code that most humans elect to follow. Cleveland-Marshall was perfect for me since it's a part of the college I have been attending for the past four years. This school is among the top law schools in Ohio and has great connections in Cleveland.

What is it about Cleveland State that made you decide to pursue a J.D. degree there as well?

I always envisioned myself going further than simply obtaining a bachelor’s degree, and Cleveland State provided the most convenient way to better myself through education by providing an excellent legal education at a great price.

It's almost like nothing has changed from my experience as an undergrad. The only difference is that I currently live in the library, which is absolutely fantastic, so I don't complain. It feels normal coming here every day.

What is it that you like most about the urban campus setting?

Cleveland has the big city feel but isn't too big, which is perfect. There isn't constant traffic or congestion. It's actually rather quaint which provides me everything I could want. The theatre district is definitely the highlight of Cleveland for me. Playhouse Square is just down the street, allowing me to see various shows throughout the year.

As someone with familiarity with the school and the area, are you able to serve as a guide for those less acquainted with this community?

Absolutely! I have been exploring every nook and cranny of Cleveland and Cleveland State for the past four and a half years. I love the city and know almost everything there is to know about it.
