In the 2014 US News & World Report law school rankings that were released today, Cleveland-Marshall College of Law ranked 119th, up from 135th in 2013. “The US News rankings formula has a number of widely recognized shortcomings, most notably its failure to reflect differences in mission and resources among the nation's 200 or so law schools,” said C|M|LAW Dean Craig M. Boise. “However, the formula does rely in part on data that is useful in evaluating law school performance, such as bar passage rates, student/faculty ratios, and graduate employment statistics. We are pleased that C|M|LAW scores well in these areas relative to other law schools.
“With our emphasis on inspired teaching, engaged learning, and classroom innovation, C|M|LAW continues to offer an outstanding legal education at an affordable price.”
