Ryan Tackett is a second year full-time law student at Cleveland-Marshall attending on a full Dean’s Scholarship. Before coming to law school, he worked for over a decade in Information Technology obtaining his Cisco and Microsoft certifications. Ryan is a graduate of Thomas Edison State College where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree with a major in Computer Information Systems. In college he was a recipient of the Arnold Fletcher Award and was a member of the Alpha Sigma Lambda Honor Society. During the spring 2011 semester, Ryan received the High A and CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Legal Writing. This summer, he worked with a local firm on several writing projects at the request of Professor Karin Mika, including an appeal to the Ohio Supreme Court. Ryan is the President of the Cleveland-Marshall Christian Legal Society. He spends his free time with his wife Amy and three children.
