Cleveland-Marshall College of Law lost a valued community member when Elisabeth Dreyfuss '78 passed away on December 17 at the age of 82. After graduating from law school, Elisabeth spent 16 years at C|M|LAW as Assistant Dean for Community Education in the Law and Director of the Street Law Program
One of C|M|LAW’s most loyal and devoted alumna, Marilyn Tobocman ’83, passed away on January 3, 2018 at the age of 83. She was a member of the Cleveland-Marshall Law Alumni Association Board of Trustees and also served as a mentor for Cleveland-Marshall law students, a Fair Housing Law Clinic instructor and adjunct faculty member.
@CSUresearch, the official research magazine of Cleveland State University, highlighted the research of four C|M|LAW Professors Pamela A. Daiker-Middaugh, Joseph Mead, Brian Ray and Heidi Gorovitz Robertson, in its Fall 2017 Volume.
The magazine provides an overview of the outstanding scholarship being conducted by faculty and students on campus as well as the efforts CSU has taken to transfer technology, innovation and knowledge to the marketplace and the broader community.

In a new tuition schedule approved by the Cleveland State University Board of Trustees and effective as of the Fall 2018 semester, out-of-state students will pay the same tuition rate as in-state Ohio students to attend Cleveland-Marshall College of Law.

Cleveland-Marshall College of Law student Kimberly Cunningham’s mother has been challenged with a chronic illness. As Kim has helped care for her mother, she gained firsthand experience of the complexity of the appointments, medical bills and stacks of paperwork that have all been part of the medical process. Thinking as a legal student, Kim became curious the role laws play in the process.
