The Cleveland-Marshall Sports Negotiation Competition and Symposium, run by the Entertainment and Sports Law Association, is a competition focused on contractual agreements in sports. Using current situations in professional sports, students will negotiate contractual agreements using the fact patterns and information provided. With contracts being the driving force of sports, students will be able to hone their negotiation skills and ability to comprehend these agreements.
Number of Teams: 40 maximum (open nationally to all MBA and Law schools)
Entry Fee: $500 registration fee. Teams can register through March 15th.
Accepted Entrants: Student teams from all accredited law schools and master's programs will be accepted.
Events: All participating students are invited to attend the Entertainment and Sports Law Association's 5th Annual Entertainment and Sports Law Symposium on April 10. There will be additional social and networking events during the competition days for those in attendance.
