The Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association’s Louis Stokes Scholars Program, launched in the summer of 2012 by Tucker Ellis LLP Partner and then-CMBA President Carter Strang (C|M|LAW ’84), has become an important resource for Cleveland students looking to pursue a career in the legal profession. The initiative has already had an impact at Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and is poised to continue providing future generations of quality students.
Cleveland-Marshall College of Law student Brandon Brown has nearly a decade of experience in the legal field, a breadth of experience nearly unheard of for a 22-year old 3L student who will graduate in May.
An open forum for the sharing and discussion of ideas, comments and critiques for the Office of Career Planning. The OCP is here to serve our students, so let us know how we're doing!
Members are invited to use this space for study, and 1L members are welcome to ask questions or get some tutoring in their classes.

Join us in the brand new Rawson Learning Commons for a lively discussion on President Trump's executive order on immigration. You will learn the important issues from a legal perspective and can join in the discussion on where immigration policy is heading. Associate Dean and Professor Milena Sterio will moderate a panel discussion featuring Federal District Court Judge, the Honorable Dan A. Polster, Professor Jonathan Witmer-Rich, Professor Joseph Mead, and immigration attorney Melissa A. Gawelek '13.
