Program will consist of an hour-long lecture, followed by discussion and Q/A regarding the minimum wage debate.
Special Guest: Mr. John White, Academic Director of the Practising Law Institute.
Mr. White will speak with students about careers in patent law and intellectual property as well as preparing for the Patent Office Exam.

Start the day with a brief informational session, then a panel of evening program graduates will share their tips and advice for transitioning to a legal career. After the panel, enjoy some refreshments and take the opportunity to have your resume reviewed, get a professional headshot taken for your LinkedIn profile, and /or conduct a mock interview with an alumnus/alumna volunteer.

"Marijuana and the States: How Should Federalism Principles Inform the Federal Government's Response to State Marijuana Initiatives?"
The discussion will look at the logistics of marijuana decriminilzation/legalization in the states that have done so or are thinking of doing so and how these state initiatives interact with federal law and policies.
