Anatomy of a Wrongful Conviction: Ohio's Efforts in Stopping the Injustice - Black Law Students Assocation
C|M|LAW will host its 44th Annual Moot Court Night, Wednesday February 6 at 6 p.m. During this event which will take place in the Moot Court Room in Bert L. Wolstein Hall, students participating in the Cleveland-Marshall Moot Court Program will prepare for the William E. McGee National Civil Rights Moot Court Competition by presenting their arguments before a panel of distinguished jurists.
The teams will be arguing whether disparate impact claims are cognizable under the Fair Housing Act. The circuits are split as the petition for certiorari currently pends before the United States Supreme Court and many expect cert to be granted.
The event is free to all guests and will offer 1.5 hours of CLE Credit.

Fingerprints for your Character and Fitness Application - The CSU Police department will be available today to take your fingerprints for your Character and Fitness Application at the table at the back of the Student Services Center. It costs $7.00 to complete your fingerprint card. Cash in not accepted. Checks should be made out to Cleveland State University.
The Supreme curt only accepts fingerprints on a special fingerprint card and does not accept digital or electronic fingerprints because your fingerprints are taken at the bar exam and checked against the card you submitted.

This long-running study abroad program provides students with the rare opportunity to study international law in the "Czar's City" of St. Petersburg.
