Assignment details

For our first class, Tuesday, May 23, 2017, 6:00 PM, room LB 237, please read pages1-24 (top) in the casebook, Sullivan & Feldman, FIRST AMENDMENT LAW, 6th ed., 2016 (Foundation Press). Those students who have already purchased CONSTITUTIONAL LAW, 19th ed., 2016, by the same authors, for their courses in Constitutional Law, should use that text instead, as page 1 of FIRST AMENDMENT LAW and all pages following correspond to page 931and all pages following of CONSTITUTIONBAL LAW. (Just add the number "931" to all page assignments referencing the FIRST AMENDMENT LAW casebook.)

Second class, Wednesday, May 24th: Casebook pages 24-40 (middle).

Third class, Thursday, May 25th: Casebook pages 40-55 (middle).

A syllabus will be distributed at our first class.
