Your academic planning is part of your larger career planning strategy. The advisers in the CSU|LAW Office of Career Strategy and Employment also serve the role of Academic Advisers for all JD students.
We can assist with:
- Course selection and planning to help you balance the priorities of meeting all graduation requirements
- Determining elective bar preparation courses
- Determining courses that further and support your career objectives
- Assistance in planning your schedule and registering for courses
- Adding/dropping a class
- Limitations on course loads
- Applying for externships
- Assistance in access to transcripts, class rank, and Dean’s Certification of Good Standing
- Assistance with testing accommodations and exam conflicts
