Assignment details

The required textbook for the course is Joshua Dressler, Understanding Criminal Law (7th Edition 2015). Make sure to get the right edition.

For our first course, please read Dressler § 1.01.

In addition, find on your own and read the following: 
-Ohio Revised Code §§ 2901.02, 2901.03, and 2901.05(A) and (E) 
-Sixth Circuit Pattern Jury Instructions, 1.03, Proof Beyond a Reasonable Doubt (including Committee Comment 1.03) 
-Owens v. State, 611 A.2d 1043 (Md. App. 1992)
