First Assignment Fall 2019

Civil Procedure

LAW 513 Section 2

Milena Sterio

Assignment details

For the first class, on Tuesday, August 27, please read pages 367-86; FRCP 7, 8 10 & 12 from the text book (Yeazell & Schwartz, 9th ediiton 2016). Please also read Federal Rules of Civil Procedure 7, 8, 10 and 12. Please bring to class a copy of the rules as well as your textbook.

Note: I apologize for any confusion, but I had ordered the 10th ediiton (2019) for our textbook (Yeazell & Schwartz), but the bookstore made a mistake and ordered the 9th edition (2016). Several of you have contacted me to let me know that you had already purchased the 9th edition, so I have decided to go with the 9th ediiton (we will supplement if necessary with additional readings from the new/10th edition). I just revised the first assignment to reflect the book ediiton change. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
