First Assignment Spring 2022

Employment Law

LAW 684 Section 501

Matthew W. Green

Assignment details

Greetings Class.

The text we will use for our Employment Law course is Samuel Estreicher, Michael C. Harper, Elizabeth C. Tippett, Cases and Materials on Employment Law: The Field As Practiced (5th ed. 2016).

Please note that the authors of the text that we will use also have published another book titled: Cases and Materials on Employment Discrimination and Employment Law: The Field as Practiced (5th ed. 2016). That is NOT the book you should purchase for this course. The book that you should not purchase has “Employment Discrimination” in the title.

Our class will be taught remotely via Blackboard. The syllabus, reading assignments and other information pertaining to the course will be uploaded to Blackboard. You will be able to access the course, including information pertaining to the reading for the first week of class, on Friday, January 7th at 6 p.m.

Please enjoy the remainder of your break. Please also feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions. I very much look forward to working with you this semester.

Very best regards,

Happy New Year!

Professor Green
