Greetings, and welcome to law school! If you're enrolled in my Contracts class, which will meet Tues/Thurs at 10am in LB237, we will be using Schwartz/Walters's Contracts: A Context and Practice Casebook, 3rd edition (ISBN 9781531008062). This is the only required text for this class, as all other secondary sources can be accessed via Westlaw or similar databases.

All reading assignments from Schwartz/Walters will be in the format "SW ###–##". 

Your first assignment for Tuesday will be to read the following: 

Chapter 1—Introduction to Contract Law (SW 3–14)
Chapter 2—Mutual Assent: Introduction (SW 20–22)
Lucy v. Zehmer and associated readings (SW 24–31)
Harvey v. Facey and associated readings (SW 31–33)
SKIM Chapter 2—Mutual Assent: Types of Legal Reasoning (SW 34–43)

We will spend the bulk of class on an introductory exercise and the two cases. A Blackboard site with a syllabus will be available no later than Friday, August 19.
