Before the first Module is released on January 10, 2023, you should log into Blackboard https://www.csuohio.edu/center-for-elearning/blackboard-login and select the course Spring 22 (1) LAW 677 Advanced Legal Research Section 501. If you are properly enrolled in the class, you will find it by clicking the “Courses” link on the left-hand menu when you log in. 

Please read all of the material under “Start Here!” and “Syllabus & Course Information.” You should also read the materials under “University Resources for Students” if you have never taken an online course at CSU. This is important information that you will need to understand the objectives and scheduling of the course, including weekly deadlines.

The required textbook for this course is Mark K. Osbeck, Impeccable Research, A Concise Guide to Mastering Leal Research Skills, 2d.,Thomson Reuters (2016). Note that there is a third edition of this book but all readings on Blackboard are based on the second edition to save you money. The first readings are not from the book but posted on Blackboard. Before the first Unit is released, please complete the readings in the “Course Content” section of the course in the folder titled, “First Assignment – Complete before the first week of class.”
