First Assignment Spring 2023

Welcome to Law, Inequality, and Everyday Life, a new seminar and legal writing course. I am excited to share the experience of this new course with you.

We are using non-traditional texts in this class that examine issues of inequality through a scholarly and literary lens. I will supplement these with articles as well as instruction relevant to our writing assignments. The books for the class are listed below.

There is no reading assignment for the first class. Please come prepared to engage in an open and productive conversation about this course and how we will conduct our sessions. I look forward to seeing you on Monday.
