Assignment details

The text for the course is Douglas A. Berman & Alex Kreit, MARIJUANA LAW & POLICY (Carolina Academic Press 2020).
For our first class on Wednesday August 14, you have two assignments:
(1) please read and be prepared to discuss the material at pp. xxv-xxvii and 3-60
(2) please be prepared to share with the class (a) why you're taking this course, including how knowledgable you are about Cannabis and it's regulation, and (b) if you you already know which aspect of Cannabis law/policy you want to research/write about, also share why you've chosen that topic. NOTE: You should plan to limit your remarks to about 2 minutes.

For anyone who wants to get a "head start" on the course readings, the reading assignments for our classes on Monday 8/19 and Wednesday 8/21 are:
