LL.M. Program Application Requirements

U.S. applicants to the LL.M. program must have earned a first degree in law from an accredited United States law school.

To be admitted into the LL.M. program, an applicant must have a proven record of scholastic accomplishment in legal studies, a coherent plan of study, normally including a specialized concentration in an area of the law, and a commitment to the study of law as an intellectual discipline. Applicants are admitted by the Dean based on the recommendation of the LLM Director. The LLM Director considers the applicant's past experience, evidence of maturity and motivation, personal recommendations, and such other indices of competence as writings and publications.

A PDF document of the listed required application materials below must be submitted via email to llm.programnull@law.csuohio.nulledu

  1. A personal statement stating your reasons for applying to the LL.M. program and how the course offerings can fulfill your expectations
  2. Official transcripts from your first degree in law and any other degrees awarded
  3. Resume/CV

For more information regarding the application process, contact llm.programnull@law.csuohio.nulledu
