Assignments
The assignments listed under each class should be completed before that class, including both reading and written assignments. .
When a written assignment appears under a class date and description, it is due by 12 p.m. (noon) on the day that class meets. The first written assignment will be due on the 9/5, the day of the third class meeting. Written assignments should be submitted by email to dacnull@dacolemanlaw.nullcom, with your name and the assignment number in the subject line.
Unless otherwise described, assigned readings are from Folberg, Golann, Stipanowich and Kloppenberg, Arbitration: Theory, Practice and Law (Wolters Kluwer Custom Edition 2016)(“Folberg”) or Ware and Levinson, Principles of Arbitration Law (2017)(“Ware”).
First class, August 22, 2017: The Big Picture – class overview, what is arbitration, what are its features and benefits?
Preclass assignments:
Read Ware, pp. 1-5 and 300-305; Folberg pp. 543-569 through Section 8. In Folberg, you may ignore all of the text in grey boxes EXCEPT on p. 555.
