First Assignment Fall 2018

Commercial Law
LAW 601 Section 1
Mark J. Sundahl

Assignment details

Hello Commercial Law Students!

I am very much looking forward to our time together on Monday and Wednesday mornings to study Commercial Law. I love teaching this course -- which is at the heart of business law -- and I hope to impart my enthusiasm to you. This course is about the UCC. In particular, Art 2 on the sales of goods and Art 3 on negotiable instruments (checks and promissory notes). As time allows, we will also explore the basics of banking law (Art 4).

In advance of our first meeting, please read the introductory sections about Art 2 and Art 3 -- specifiically, pp. 1-9 and 391-393.

I will see you all in Room 11 on Monday at 9 am!
