Hi, and welcome to Sagers' Corporations class!
The casebook for the course will be Theresa Gabaldon & Chris Sagers, Business Organizations (2d ed. 2018), ISBN: 978- 1543807936. You do NOT need to purchase the “bind-in access” or any other online or supplementary content. There is also a statutory supplement for the class (available at https://www.aspenpublishing.com/Gabaldon-Business2; password: BusOrg2018).

There is not exactly a "first day of class" for this course, because it mainly consists of asynchronous video lectures that you will watch at your own pace.
HOWEVER, there will be six live sessions during the course, and the first of them will be:

Friday, August 26 from 12:30-2:00. 

All of the live sessions will be held remotely, at this Zoom link: https://csuohio.zoom.us/j/81413875180.
For that first session on the 26th, please read pp. 3-19 in the casbeook and ABA Model MRPC Rules 1.6, 1.7, 1.13. (Attendance is not strictly mandatory, and all live sessions will be recorded and posted on our Blackboard page. However, I STRONGLY recommend that you attend live if at all possible.)
