Cleveland State University College of Law is proud to share that Co-Interim Dean and Professor of Law Carolyn Broering-Jacobs has been named a 2026 Notable Woman in Law by Crain's Cleveland Business.

The recognition honors leading women in the legal profession across Northeast Ohio who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, professional achievement, and meaningful contributions to their organizations and communities.

At CSU|Law, Dean Broering-Jacobs plays a key role in guiding the College through a period of growth and innovation while maintaining a strong focus on student success, experiential learning, and engagement with the regional legal community. In addition to her leadership as Co-Interim Dean, she continues to serve as a dedicated educator and mentor to students preparing to enter the legal profession.

Her work reflects a longstanding commitment to strengthening legal education and expanding opportunities for students to develop the skills needed to succeed in practice.
The Notable Women in Law recognition highlights attorneys and legal leaders whose work is shaping the future of the profession while advancing the communities they serve. Dean Broering-Jacobs’ leadership at CSU|Law and across the region exemplifies those qualities.
