Office of Disability& Testing Services Information & Procedures
Affiliating with Disability Services
In order to receive accommodations students must first formally affiliate with CSU’s Office of
Disability and Testing Services (ODTS), by following these steps:
- Complete Disability Services’ Online Application
- Provide documentation of your disability by submitting to the online portal, dropping it off in person to Rhodes Tower, emailing odsnull@csuohio.nulledu, or faxing to (216) 687-2343.
- Complete an Intake Appointment
Once you have affiliated with ODTS you do not need to complete an intake every semester. However, you must login to the system each semester to request your accommodations for that semester. If you are requesting accommodations that were not previously approved, you may need to provide more documentation or have an additional meeting.

Questions Regarding Disability Services & Testing Accommodations
Questions should be directed to ODTS. This includes questions regarding what disability services are offered, who qualifies for accommodations, how to request accommodations, or the accommodations you currently have in place. For questions involving disability access, contact odsnull@csuohio.nulledu. For questions involving taking exams, contact testingservicesnull@csuohio.nulledu
For more information about ODTS visit: https://www.csuohio.edu/disability/disability Scheduling & Testing with Testing Services
For students who have accommodations in place, you must work directly with ODTS to schedule and take your midterms or exams. Exams are administered by appointment only. Daytime exams need to be scheduled at least three business days in advance and evening exams need to be scheduled five business days in advance. Exams are taken in the ODTS Testing Center located in Rhodes Tower West #215. The testing center closes at 9pm Monday through Thursday and 5pm on Fridays. If you have a concern regarding these hours please contact Dean Beznoska or Anne Wells. You will need a valid photo ID on testing day.
Remember, you should be taking your exam on the same day it is scheduled by the law school. If you have a conflict as outlined in Academic Regulation 3.6, you must first request a reschedule following the College of Law’s exam reschedule procedure. You cannot take an exam earlier than the regularly scheduled time.

How to Schedule with Testing Services
To schedule your exams with ODTS:
- Call (216) 687-2272
- Email testingservicesnull@csuohio.nulledu
- Use test reservation form: https://www.csuohio.edu/testingservices/test-reservation-form
Students should NOT contact their professor regarding scheduling with ODTS. This could compromise grading anonymity. If you have questions specific to the College of Law that ODTS is unable to answer, reach out to Dean Beznoska or Anne Wells.
Accommodations for Remote & Take Home Exams
For timed remote exams, students are still able to schedule and take their exams in testing services if they choose to. This is a good option for students who may not have access to their accommodations outside the testing center. However, students are not required to take remote exams in testing services in order to receive some accommodations, such as extra time.
For remote/take home exams in which you are given less than 3 days (72 hours), you will have the additional time that ODTS has granted. Students with Stop the Clock breaks get an extra 30 minutes added to their extra time. For remote/take home exams in which you are given 3 days or more, you will not receive extra time.
