Cleveland-Marshall College of Law Moot Court competitors Melissa Bilancini, Ben Fuchs, and Alanna Guy won the 2017 Gabrielli National Family Law Moot Court Competition at Albany Law School. The C|M|LAW trio bested 22 teams from across the country for the top prize and were also awarded Best Brief.
Cleveland-Marshall College of Law is celebrating its 120th Anniversary with plans for a yearlong celebration of its heritage. The 120th Anniversary campaign will include special activities and events to highlight the accomplishments of the law school and its distinguished alumni.
Students: If you are considering applying for a fellowship, you are strongly encouraged to join Dean Fisher and the Office of Career Planning on Wednesday, March 22 for a conversation with Terry Gilbert CM'73, creator of the Terry and Robin Gilbert Social Justice Fellowship, and previous Gilbert Fellowship recipients. Hear about why these fellowships are important and how they provide more than just monetary value to their recipients. The conversation will begin at 5:00 pm in Room LB60. For the second consecutive year, Cleveland-Marshall College of Law’s Black Law Students Association (BLSA) was the major winner at the association’s Midwest Regional Convention. The C|M|LAW chapter was again named Midwest Regional Chapter of the Year and won the Midwest Regional Frederick Douglass Moot Court Competition.

This meeting will be an informational session about IP in Cleveland. Ari Sherwin, President of the Cleveland Intellectual Property Law Association (CIPLA), will give a brief talk about IP, CIPLA, and the upcoming concert and discussion with The Slants about their court battle over the trademark of their band's name with the Federal government.
