Steve Percy to Be Honored at CSU Radiance Celebration
CSU Law is proud to celebrate Steve Percy, ’79, who will be recognized as a 2026 President’s Medal Honoree at the Cleveland State University Foundation’s Radiance celebration next week.
A distinguished leader in global energy and a deeply engaged member of the CSU Law community, Steve has remained closely connected to his alma mater throughout his career. He currently serves as Leader in Residence at the College of Law and is one of our most dedicated and generous alumni, offering his time, insight, and support to our students and faculty.
Steve also serves on the Executive Committee of the CSU Law Board of Visitors and, in 2014, he and his wife, Polly, established the Steven W. Percy Endowed Professorship to support exceptional work in environmental and energy law. Through their generosity, they have helped expand opportunities for students and strengthen the law school’s academic mission in lasting ways.
In recognition of his many contributions, Steve received an Honorary Doctor of Laws in 2017 and was inducted into the CSU Law Hall of Fame that same year.
Radiance honors individuals whose leadership and service have made a meaningful difference to the University and the broader community. Steve’s recognition reflects not only his remarkable professional achievements, but also his enduring commitment to CSU Law and the people it serves.
We are grateful for Steve’s continued engagement with our community and proud to congratulate him on this well-deserved honor.
