Kim Bixenstine is one of the area’s foremost experts in health law, having spent 16 years building an award-winning claims, litigation and risk management system at University Hospitals (UH). She worked for four years as UH’s Chief Compliance Officer after serving as the Hospitals’ Vice President & Deputy General Counsel for 12 years.

Cleveland State University and the University of Akron have announced the formation of a Joint Exploratory Working Group to consider a strategic partnership between the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and The University of Akron School of Law. The Working Group will be co-chaired by CSU Cleveland-Marshall Dean Lee Fisher and Akron Law Dean C.J.

CSU C|M|LAW's Criminal Justice Center is launching the "Day One Project," a new initiative that teams law students with the Cuyahoga County Public Defender's Office to provide defendants with the time and attention needed to make their case for being released to a judge. The collaboration will be led by CSU C|M|LAW Leader-in-Residence and former Cleveland Municipal Court Judge Robert Triozzi,
