What motivated you to attend law school?

For me, law school was a means to a unique set of skills. I always knew I wanted to go to law school and use my law degree to help people and companies resolve their legal disputes.

Tell us about your legal work experience (law clerk, externship, internship, etc.).

After my first year in law school, I worked as a law clerk at the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I was certified as a student attorney and got to make “on-the-record” court appearances. During law school, I worked for Reminger, LPA, where I obtained valuable experience in researching and drafting motions in a variety of practice areas. I am also Executive Editor of Cleveland Marshall’s Law Review.

What are the best qualities you will bring to a legal employer?

I am diligent, embrace challenging work, and I am a strong researcher and writer. From my position as a law clerk, I have amassed strong experience in researching simple and nuanced legal issues, as well drafting a number of different motions filed in court.

What are your goals for your legal career?

I would like to continue developing as a legal professional in Cleveland at a mid-size law firm practicing civil law. I am particularly interested in employment law, personal injury, premises liability, and general business litigation.
