SEAT DEPOSIT INFORMATION
Deadline Requirements: Seat deposits can be paid online at csulaw.org/deposit. All seat deposits are non-refundable and will be applied to the student’s account during the fall semester and will not be applied to fall semester tuition charges. To accept an offer of admission, admitted students are required to submit two seat deposits. Your offer of admission may, at the Law School's discretion, be canceled or made contingent upon available space if you fail to meet the deposit deadlines specified in this document.
First Seat Deposit: The first seat deposit, in the amount of $300.00, must be received by the Office of Admission on or before the Confirmation Deadline Date printed on the Notice of Admission document.
Second Seat Deposit: The second seat deposit, in the amount of $200.00, must be received by the Office of Admission on or before the Second Deposit Deadline provided to you.
MATRICULATION REQUIREMENT: FINAL TRANSCRIPTS
Official transcripts evidencing the date of the award of a bachelor's degree must be received by the CSU College of Law through the Law School Admission Council’s Credential Assembly Service (CAS) no later than August 13 in order to complete matriculation procedures. This means that you must submit your final transcript to CAS – evidencing the date on which you were awarded a bachelor’s degree – in sufficient time for CAS to process and post your final transcript by August 13.
Failure to submit the transcripts in a timely manner in order for CSU College of Law to receive a CAS Report with your final transcript by August 13 will result in the withdrawal of your matriculation.
Transcripts should NOT be sent to the law school. They must be sent directly to LSAC through one of these options:

MATRICULATION REQUIREMENT: JUMPSTART SUMMER PROGRAM
JumpStart is a free – but mandatory - program designed to help incoming 1Ls acclimate to law school. This seven-session four-week program in July preceding the commencement of classes provides an outstanding introduction to the law school experience, including instruction on basic study and exam-taking skills.
All new students will receive detailed information about the JumpStart program.
MATRICULATION REQUIREMENT: FIRST YEAR ORIENTATION & THE START OF CLASSES
A mandatory First Years’ Orientation program will be conducted in August during the week immediately preceding the commencement of classes. Detailed information regarding the program will be sent in July to all new students.
First-year students do not need to select classes, as class assignments will automatically be made for you. Class schedules will be mailed to all incoming students in July.
INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
International students should contact the University’s Center for International Services and Programs (CISP). Before a visa document can be issued, you must provide evidence of financial support to cover the cost of attendance and living expenses for the first year of law school.
